Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Mason Koponyas, an individual based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, operating the app Caivo. By using Caivo, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Caivo is, and is not
Caivo is an educational habit and performance coaching app built on published scientific evidence. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or other qualified professional. Talk to a professional before making changes to your health, sleep, diet, or exercise, especially if you have a medical condition.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Caivo. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app with a parent or guardian's involvement.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us at support@caivo.ca if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscriptions and billing
- Caivo offers a free tier and a paid coaching subscription. Paid plans are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
- An annual plan may include a free trial. Unless you cancel, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Payments are handled by the app stores. Refunds are governed by the store's policies. The free tier remains available whether or not you subscribe.
Win your first year back
Annual subscriptions bought during the founding window carry an offer we call the guarantee. The app tells you on the paywall whether it is being offered to you, and shows your progress against it while it is running. These are its terms.
- Who it applies to. Anyone who buys the annual plan on or before January 31, 2027. It does not apply to the monthly plan. If you bought while the offer was open, you keep it, including after that date.
- What you have to do. All three of the following, within 90 days of your purchase: reach a 90 day streak, where one missed day per week is forgiven, the same rule the app's own streak uses; close 30 points of your Blueprint gap, counted only from habit builds you actually complete after purchase, not from habits you told us at intake you already had; and either bring one person who joins with your referral code, or publish your gap report.
- How it is counted. By the app, from your own records, automatically. Nothing has to be submitted. All three conditions are shown on your Today screen with your live progress against each one, and once all three are met the claim button appears there.
- What you get. The full amount you paid for that first annual term. Where the app store lets us return the money, it is returned. Where it does not, and Apple in particular handles its own refunds, you get an equivalent free year of the paid subscription instead, at no charge to you. Either way you are not out the price of the first year.
- When. Claims are settled by hand, within 30 days of the claim. Your subscription and everything in the app keep working normally throughout.
- One per person and per account. The offer can be claimed once. Fabricated records, duplicate accounts, or tampering with the app's stored data void it.
Evidence and results
Caivo labels every habit with an honest rating of how strong the underlying evidence is. These are recommendations grounded in published research, not promises. Results depend on you, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no attempts to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to it, and no use that breaks the law or infringes others' rights.
Intellectual property
Caivo, its content, and its design are owned by the operator and protected by law. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app. Your own data remains yours.
App stores
When you download Caivo from the Apple App Store, this agreement is between you and the operator, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, but is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them. The same principle applies to Google Play and its operator.
Disclaimers and limits
Caivo is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You can stop using Caivo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
